Tradition calls! And the bride follows!

Here is a list of the tokens that bring good luck to the bride. We know that most brides try and wear them for Good Luck on their Wedding Day. This has been the case for many years and brides like to follow these traditions, specially if they bring good furtune!

So... brides! Make sure that you have ONE OF EACH!  We did a nice simple chart so you make sure that you don't miss one! All you have to do is gather all the objects before the wedding day, so that you are set to wear them on the Big Day!

It’s the symbol of  the new life that the bride is starting together with her groom.

Something Old

It represents the past, that both bride and groom  are leaving behind.

An object that is really old or antique, for example: a piece of jewelry, or a hair comb.

Something Borrowed

It represents the love of the people that care for the bride and groom.

A loved one must lend this object.

Something Given (a present)

It is the love of the ones close to both bride and groom

A pair of Earrings

Something Blue

It symbolizes the bride’s purity and sincerity.  (Before it used to be the colour of the bride’s dress).

A delicate garter, decorated with a fine blue ribbon.
